Cayman National Choir and Orchestra continue their 2024 season with Caribbean Blue, a captivating concert at the Harquail theatre which transcends genres from jazz to rock and roll and from musical theatre to easy listening. Melody Gifford, who for the second time will be conducting the choir said, “You can expect something different from our usual repertoire as we embark on a musical odyssey celebrating the rich tapestry of Caribbean culture ― a journey that will stir nostalgia and delight.”

The concert will include the iconic theme from Pirates of the Caribbean and timeless classics like Blue Moon and Blue Suede Shoes. Enya’s ‘Caribbean Blue’ will evoke sun drenched shores where every note carries the warmth and vitality of the Caribbean spirit.

“We are thrilled to be joined by cabaret artist Caryn Caffarelli,” said Melody Gifford. “Our audience will be delighted by her rich, beautiful voice and captivated by her glowing stage presence.” Caryn, who is not new to Cayman audiences, has appeared in performances at the Harquail with Quintessential Movement Studio and to support Jasmine through Voices for Hospices.
